Returns & Refunds Policy
Every Guts Tee is printed for you after you order it. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting. That's how we can offer 800+ designs (wait.. what??) without landfilling the ones nobody picks - but it does mean our returns work a little differently to a big-box retailer, so here's exactly how, in plain English.
The short version
- Wrong size? We'll swap it. One free size exchange per order, within 30 days of delivery.
- Damaged, misprinted, or just plain the wrong shirt? Send us a photo and we'll replace it or refund you. No return shipping, no hoops.
- Changed your mind? You can return an unworn tee within 30 days of delivery for a refund. You cover the return postage.
- Need to cancel? Email us within 12 hours of ordering and we'll stop it if it hasn't gone to print.
If any of that goes sideways, email support@gutstees.store and a real human (usually within one business day) will sort it out.
Size exchanges
Our tees are a unisex cut - roomy, slightly boxy, and very easy to size up in for that oversized look. We put a size chart and a fitting video on every product page, and we'd genuinely rather you use them than guess. See additional fit/sizing info in our Fitting Room
But we know a chart isn't the same as trying it on. So:
- One free size exchange per order, within 30 days of delivery
- Same design, same color, different size
- The tee needs to be unworn and unwashed (deodorant marks and cat hair are the giveaways, and we will notice)
- Email us first at support@gutstees.store with your order number and a photo of the tee laid flat. We'll send you the return address
- Your replacement goes into production as soon as you send us the valid tracking number
- We cover the cost of the replacement shirt. You cover return postage on the original
Want a different design or color instead of a different size? That's a return, not an exchange - see below.
Damaged, defective, or wrong item
If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, off-centre, or is simply not what you ordered, that's on us and we'll fix it properly.
Email support@gutstees.store within 30 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A photo of the issue (including part of the t-shirt graphic in the photo
We'll send a replacement or refund you in full. You won't need to post anything back, and you won't pay for shipping.
Changed your mind
You can return an unworn tee for a refund within 30 days of delivery, as long as it's:
- Unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition
- Returned to the address we send you in the return instructions
- Posted at your cost - we can't refund return postage on change-of-mind returns
Once it lands and we've checked it over, we'll refund the full purchase price to your original payment method within 10 business days. Banks can take another few days on top of that, so if it's been more than 15 business days, please contact your bank.
Cancelling or changing an order
Email support@gutstees.store within 12 hours and we'll do our best. If it hasn't gone to print, we'll cancel or amend it, no problem. If it's already printing, we can't pull it back - but the options above still apply once it arrives.
Where your return actually goes
Not back to us. All our returns and exchanges go to an awesome not-for-profit cat rescue center in Northern California. You post it there, send us the tracking number, and that's the end of your admin.
Nothing gets landfilled. Nothing crosses the country twice. A shirt that didn't fit you ends up with someone spending their Saturday cleaning litter trays for cats nobody's claimed yet.
How good is that!
Large orders
Orders of 7 or more items, or any custom or bulk request, are made specifically for you and can't be returned for change of mind. Damage and defect cover still applies in full - that never goes away.

What we can't refund
- Tees that have been worn, washed, or altered
- Normal wear and tear
- Change-of-mind returns requested more than 30 days after delivery
- Change-of-mind returns on orders of 7 or more items
